Ainsley Baker
Hi everyone! My name is Ainsley Baker and I’m in my third year of Health Sciences in the French stream! When I’m not drowning in schoolwork I like to hang out with friends, watch really bad reality TV, and try different restaurants; I LOVE food. I’m super excited to be apart of the HSSA this year! As co-president, I want to ensure our students have the best experience possible during their time here at UOttawa. My number one priority is making sure there is a strong bond between our team and you, our students, so that you all feel like you have someone in your corner whenever you have any questions or concerns. My favourite event is definitely winter formal! It’s so fun to get all dressed up and have a great night with your friends.

Heyyyooo, HSS. That’s right, I got a promotion. Who saw this coming?? For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a fourth year Health Sciences Student with a specialization in Integrative Health Biosciences. I am a loud, energetic, and rambunctious person so always feel free to say hey! In my downtime I’m an avid consumer of sports, craft beers, and the finest of Kraft Dinner cheeses. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be your incoming Co-President for the 2022-23 school year. We have so many amazing things planned from 101 Week and Shinerama, all the way to HealthSci Formal. It’s been a long time coming HSS, but we can’t wait to get back to working with you all on campus to make this the best year we can. Hey HSS! My name is Olivia Ivankovic and I am a fourth year Health Sciences student. I love to travel, explore new places, and meet new people. My favourite pass-time is going to the gym or cooking. I am so excited to be the Director of Marketing this year! What I would like to accomplish in my position... As VP of Marketing, I will highlight all the exciting aspects of HSSA events through promotional materials. It is my goal to encourage as many people as possible to join in on all the fun and amazing events the HSSA has to offer! Favourite event... My favourite event is 101 week. I came to Ottawa knowing nobody and met some of my best friends during 101 week. It was an opportunity to meet so many people and take part in awesome events!!

Shannon Blake
Hi! My name is Shannon Blake and I am in my second year of Health Sciences. I completed 2 years of CEGEP prior to starting at uOttawa therefore you may see me in some of your third and fourth year courses! I am so happy to represent you as VP of Equity and Activism as I believe everyone should have a voice. I am very empathetic, approachable and welcoming therefore do not hesitate to come see me about any issue you may be experiencing. What I would like to accomplish in my position... I want to ensure that all health science students feel included and are treated equitably. If you are feeling unheard, please approach me and we will come up with a plan to change that. I want you to know that you’re all important and if you feel there is no one in your corner, you have me.

Arianna Halani Hi everyone! My name is Arianna Halani and I am a fourt year Health Science student. I love running, fashion, travelling, and anything involving food!! In my free time I’m usually on a patio, or spending time outside! What I would like to accomplish in my position... As this years VP of Internal Affairs, I want to help you guys find some awesome and fun volunteer opportunities! I’m also super excited to design this years clothing order, to give you guys some cool HSS merch! Favourite event... I would say my favourite event is the Winter Formal. It's a great night to get dressed up, and have loads of fun with your friends! Its a great break from studying, and you get to meet new HSS friends!

Cassandra Lee
Hi everyone! I’m Cassandra Lee and I am a third year health science student. I’m so excited to represent you as VP Social of the HSSA. I’m a very friendly and outgoing person, so please do reach out if you have any suggestions for social events this year! During my free time, I love playing piano, hanging out with friends and watching movies!” What I would like to accomplish in my position… My goal this year is to organize more in person events! Covid has definitely taken a toll on all of us, so I think it’s time we went out and met other HSSers! I’m all about balancing school and fun, and as I like to say, “work hard, play hard!” Favourite event… My favourite event would definitely be formal. Whether it’s for the open bar or the dinner and dancing, formal truly is a fun time for everyone! Get ready to dust up your ballgowns and your suits HSSA!

Harmony Selman
Hey! My name is Harmony Selman, and I am going into my third year in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology. In my free time I like hanging out with my friends, listening to music, hiking, and meeting new people – come say hi! When I’m not working or being suffocated with school work, you can usually find me reading in a park somewhere, or trying out a new restaurant with my friends. I am so thrilled to be a part of the HSSA this year, as your VP of Finance! As your VP of Finance it is my job to oversee all financial transactions for the HSSA. These past two years have shown me how important it is to be rewarded, and it is time for us Health Science students to enjoy some time connecting with our peers. On that note, this year I plan to work hand in hand with the VP of Social Affairs along with other execs to plan some great events for everyone, on a deserving budget!

Harneet Cheema
Hello HSS students! My name is Harneet Cheema, and I am starting my fourth year of Health Sciences! The main thing you need to know about me is that I LOVE The Office; it's pretty much my whole personality. Otherwise, I love all things to do with music and MMA. What I would like to accomplish in my position... As your Vice-President of Philanthropy, my objective is to hold charitable events and fundraisers to amplify the voices of HSS students who feel strongly about current issues. I strive to be the connecting point between your opinions and the executive council. Favourite event... Out of all HSS events, I definitely love Shinerama the most! I think it’s a great opportunity network while giving back to our community.

Nimrit Kenth
Hi everyone! My name is Nimrit Kenth and I am a fourth year Health Science student. Outside of school I love swimming, playing piano, and hiking. My favourite pastimes are baking and spending time with my family. My favourite events, because it is impossible to pick just one would have to be 101 week and Winter Formal. 101 week is a great event to meet many of your close friends at university, both first years and upper years. Definitely one of the moments you will remember the most from university. Winter formal allows you to reconnect with Health Science students you have not seen in a while, and it’s a great night to take a break and have fun. What I would like to accomplish in my position... Within my advisory position, my goals consist of working with the council to help guide students on their undergraduate journey. I hope to provide students with more career path guidance, information about volunteering or research, and use my 4 years of undergraduate experience to help students have the best experience possible, both academically and socially.

Christina Azzi Hey HSS! My name is Christina Azzi, and I am a second year Health Sciences student. I’m super excited to be your Vp of Comm this year! I am a very social and outgoing person, so don’t hesitate to come see me if you have any questions or just want to say hello! In my free time I love working out, swimming and trying out different cafes. I look forward to a great year on campus at uOttawa! Favorite event: My favorite event is definitely 101 Week but more specifically, carnival day! It is an excellent way to start off the year on a positive note. This event allows you to meet other first year students and create many friendships.
